Another one of my earlier designs. This piece snaps into place where your old ash tray would go. Its an easy way to seamlessly add Aftermarket switches without having to cut into or glue on to your original dash. Using a hook and tab construction this piece uses absolutely no hardware whatsoever to install.
Here we can see the installation process of the compression tab being used to snap the panel in place. I chose this design to avoid putting any stress on the already fragile screw holes that the ash tray mounts into. My design diffuses forces more evenly across the face of the dash.
